Adult Individual counseling is a personal, one-on-one process where you work with a trained and licensed therapist to explore and address any challenges or concerns in your life. Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or simply feeling stuck, counseling provides a safe and supportive space for you to talk openly about your thoughts and emotions.

 

You will gain insights into your patterns of thinking, behavior, and how past experiences may affect your present life. You will work to develop practical tools to manage difficulties, improve your mental health, make positive changes, and achieve a deeper understanding of yourself

Mental Health Consultation and Assessment

This service is ideal for individuals who are unsure where to begin, not sure if they want to begin therapy, or are uncertain of  what type of professional they need. 

 

During a mental health assessment, we will explore in-depth what’s prompting you to seek support, allowing us to gain a clearer picture of your experiences and goals. This service offers a thorough, personalized consultation designed to help you better understand your mental health needs.

 

Using a biopsychosocial approach and relevant outcome measures, I will work with you to assess your needs and recommend a tailored treatment plan. I’ll will also guide you in identifying the most suitable type of mental health professional(s) to support your journey and assist in navigating how to find the right provider.

 

My goal is to help you gain clarity, direction, and confidence as you take the next steps toward your well-being.

Young Adult Individual Counseling

Young adult counseling is designed to help individuals between the ages of 18 and 25 navigate the unique challenges that come with transitioning into adulthood. During this time, many people face big life changes such as starting college, entering the workforce, building relationships, and figuring out their identity.

 

Counseling can help young adults manage stress, anxiety, and the pressure of making important life decisions. It’s a space to learn how to cope with new responsibilities, address struggles such as social anxiety, self-esteem issues, or relationship concerns, and can be a place for self discovery.

 

With counseling, young adults can gain tools to build confidence, emotional resilience, and clarity about their future.

Couples Counseling

Couples counseling is a safe, supportive space where you and your partner can work through challenges and strengthen your relationship.

 

My focus is  in working with couples who are just starting their counseling journey, helping both of you feel comfortable and supported as you explore the issues affecting your relationship.

 

Whether you’re struggling with communication problems, conflict resolution, trust issues, infidelity or simply feeling disconnected, couples counseling provides the tools and techniques to help you better understand each other.

 

In our sessions, you’ll learn how to express yourselves more openly, listen with empathy, and work together to resolve conflicts in a healthier way.

 

Counseling isn’t just for times of crisis, it’s a place to improve your bond, deepen your emotional intimacy, and build a strong foundation for the future.

Adolescent Individual Counseling

Adolescent Individual counseling focuses on the emotional and mental health needs of teens,

 

 Adolescence is a time of rapid physical, emotional, and social development, and counseling can help teens navigate difficult feelings such as stress, sadness, anxiety, and can help them explore friendship and family dynamics

 

Counseling provides teens a supportive space to express emotions and concern,  develop healthy coping skills, improve their communication skills, and manage their emotions during this challenging stage of life.

 

Individual counseling can be a powerful tool for teens to understand themselves better, strengthen their relationships, and improve their overall well-being.

Support Groups

If you're seeking to enhance your self-esteem, improve your relationships, or overcome loneliness in a group environment, I offer supportive and empowering groups  designed to address these key areas of personal growth.

 

Some groups include: 

1. The Self-Esteem and Confidence Building Support Group

2. Relationship and Communication Issues Group 

3. Support groups for those have experienced Loneliness and Social Isolation

These support groups provide a collaborative space where you can connect with others facing similar challenges and gain valuable tools for positive change.
